Eat Spicy Foods – Keep Cancer Away!

October 19th 2008 06:08
The recent research has revealed that a daily diet rich in spices may offer protection against cancer and other illness. This is the main reason why Indians suffer lower risks of cancer compared to other developed countries. A chemical called Capsaicin, which gives spicy foods its kick, holds the key to the next generation of anti-cancer drugs. The researchers have found that capsaicin can kill cancer cells by directly targeting their energy sources, indicating that people could control or prevent onset of cancer by eating a diet rich in capsaicin.
