Regular mobile use makes ear buzz
August 3rd 2010 10:54
The recent study reveals that regular use of mobile for more than four years almost doubles the chance of developing tinnitus – the debilitating condition that causes constant ringing and buzzing in the ears. The people who used their mobile for an average of 10 minutes a day were 70% more likely to have tinnitus. The most common cause is damage to the hearing through trauma or exposure to loud noise. However, it can also be triggered by some mental or physical changes such as depression, redundancy and illness. The main reason for the cause of this condition called tinnitus is the microwave energy produced by the phones.
